"Transforming Kangra into the Tourism Capital: The Government's Blueprint for Development and Employment Creation"


 

The Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhhu stated that tourism is the mainstay of the state's economy. The government is making every effort to develop the Kangra district as the tourism capital to promote tourism in the state. To this end, the government has prepared a blueprint for various projects in the Kangra district with the aim of providing modern facilities to tourists. After a review meeting of the tourism department, the Chief Minister said that there are immense possibilities for tourism in the Kangra district. The district boasts of beautiful Dhauladhar mountains, historic temples, and exciting adventure activities. The government will spend INR 3.9 billion approved by the Asian Development Bank to develop the basic infrastructure of traditional tourist sites in the Kangra district. This will create employment and self-employment opportunities for local youth while strengthening the state's economy. The government has also decided to build an international standard golf course in the heritage village of Paragpur in Kangra district. Plans are underway to beautify the Palampur area, including proposals to build a 24-hour tourism village of an advanced resort, a modern roller skating rink, and a wellness center. The government has also approved INR 2.5 billion for Banh Khad in the Dharamshala constituency

Will bring jobs, revenue’ — Himachal MLA panel to study legalising cannabis cultivation



Legalisation has been long-standing demand in Himachal, raised by legislators across party lines. Panel will visit areas where cannabis is grown & submit report within a month.


 Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has constituted a panel of legislators to study the various aspects of legalising hemp cultivation and submit a report in this regard to the chief minister within a month.


Himachal Vacation Schedule: हिमाचल के स्कूलों में 38 दिनों तक बरसात की छुट्टियां, शेड्यूल जारी

हिमाचल प्रदेश के ग्रीष्मकालीन अवकाश वाले स्कूलों में 22 जून से 29 जुलाई तक बरसात की छुट्टियां होंगी। छुट्टियों की कुल संख्या 38 रखी गई है। उच्च शिक्षा निदेशालय ने ग्रीष्मकालीन स्कूलों की बरसात और सर्दियों की छुट्टियों का शेड्यूल जारी कर दिया है। लोहड़ी के दौरान छह दिन का अवकाश देने का निर्णय लिया गया है।
